Do You Lie About Being Married When Looking for a Lover?

What is the "right" thing to do when cheating?

“Are you married?”

Think long and hard about how you answer this question from a potential lover.

It’s make-or-break time.
Literally.
They can go postal if you promise you’re single (and you are most certainly not).

r/adultery veterans know the drill:

• Never lie. It will come back to bite you.

• Always tell the truth.

• It’s something I don’t feel like hiding about myself.

• I am upfront. No reason to lie.

• That’s a recipe for disaster down the road.

• I never, ever lie about that. One, it’s despicable to do that to the person you are talking to. Two, it’s going to come out later… then, what?

• Upfront. Less drama.

Ironically, adulterers understand the importance of being truthful in an affair.

Yet, one guy makes the opposite argument. “Lie and get more action.”

“That’s despicable!”
”Predatory behavior.”

“If you are a piece of shit cheater, why not go whole hog?” He argued.

Because you will pay with your pound of flesh.

Married men who lie to get single women to sleep with them are the lowest of the low. They open up the playdate pool and risk everything. Don’t.

Nope. NO.

Pretending you are single is like arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Have fun going down with the ship. Your wifey will get out alive, I promise. People will sympathize with her.

“HE WHAT?! HE SAID HE WAS SINGLE?”
”WHAT A WORM! TAKE HIM FOR ALL HE’S WORTH!”

Side effects might include loss of friends, family, and job. And bank accounts.

Find someone on the same page. Someone who understands your predicament. You want a side piece. That’s it.

You aren’t leaving.
Blowing up your life.
Starting over.

Adultery is all about lying. Yet, lying about being married is WRONG.

Cheat with some goddamn integrity, lol.

I’m all for morally flexible behavior. Read my writing. BUT, saying you are single to get laid. That’s some Jack Nicholson shit. “You can’t handle the truth. You want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.”
